Foto velo drome is a photography exhibition by Chris Keller-Jackson and features UK and international track riders. Chris' photographic style emphasis the drama and excitement in track racing and I wanted to reflect this in the poster.
The poster uses a minimalist style to illustrate the track as a stage to play on the theatrical style of photography. The steep angles, which are at the same angles as Manchesters steepest point, are also designed to reinforce this idea. The event is being held at Manchester Velodrome throughout 2013.About:

The Ride Journal is a brilliant magazine. It's full of stories told by people who love two wheels and illustrated with photography and a variety of illustrations. My illustration is featured in the current issue (VII) and is available to purchase here.
There's also a good article about the journal on a lovely blog called It's nice that.

Whitespace agency were involved in the entire re-brand of Melville's fruit beer. Melville's were looking for a new image and decided to take the illustration route to achieve this.
I was lucky enough to be involved in a few aspects of this process including illustrations for the website, posters and an animation showing the 'Wonderful World of Melville's'. You can see the website and watch the video on Melville's website by clicking here.

I love design and the outdoors and have always been a big fan of HUCK magazine, which effortlessly combines great design and inspiring people doing amazing things. Then Coven came along.
Coven magazine again brings together art and adventure but with a twist. All the people doing amazing things are women. So when I was given the opportunity of illustrating the front cover, I jumped at the chance. Whilst the magazine is about women, it's not your typical women's magazine and the cover needed to reflect this. Click here to visit the Coven website where you can download the latest edition for free.

Bank of Dave was a documentary produced by Channel 4. It followed the story of Dave, a self-made millionaire, who was attempting to set up his own bank during the banking crisis.
Whitespace had been brought in to create an interactive infographic to explain this. With a background in information graphics, I was really excited to be involved in this project and was commissioned to illustrate Dave's story. We were really pleased with the end result and it received some great feedback. You can find out more about Dave's story and see the infographic for yourself on the channel 4 website.

Inspiring Enterprise is a new service from RBS, which required a seperate identity from their mainstream banking. I was involved in illustrating a variety of icons, which would make up the overall identity as well being used as sign posting symbols across the website. I also created a variety of illustrations to be used within a bespoke animation detailing the aims and benefits of the RBS Inspring Enterprise programme. For more information and to see the illustrations in work click here.
